On Saturday August 10th, Empowered Partnerships LLC attended the Behavioral Health Legislative Round Up hosted by Jefferson Center for Mental Health and their amazing CEO, Dr. Kiara Kuenzler! Panelists included, Doyle Forrestal, CEO of Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council, Summer Gathercole, Senior Advisor with Behavioral Health Transformation/CDHS, Dr. Susan Leach, Chief Student Success Officer at Jeffco Public Schools, Ernestine Mondragon with Policy Matters and Brad Sjostrom, LCSW, MAC and Director at West Pines Behavioral Health.
There was an excellent discussion around different ways we can/are implementing positive change within our mental/behavioral health practices and polices here in Jefferson County. Great topics and insight from the panel and lots of thoughtful feedback from attendees. It’s group discussions like this that keep us moving forward as a community.
